Washington Interfaith Network Leadership Development Program

To learn more about the courses or offer feedback, please sign up for a WIN Open House:

Courses begin in January 2020: Each course will build a cohort of people from various WIN churches and give them the tools they need to be effective advocates in DC.

Participation in these free courses (not regularly offered!) will build the relationships and the structure for St. Mark’s engagement supporting or creating WIN actions. We would like to have representation in each course. Where is your passion for action?

COURSE 1:  BUILDING YOUR DREAM TEAM
Learn how to create people power by connecting one-to-one with others in the parish and in the community (relational organizing). Four sessions (five hours total) plus community work, beginning January 12.

COURSE 2: GET INTO THE DRIVER’S SEAT OF ORGANIZING – 3 Tracks
Learn the issues and the organizing nuts and bolts of these specific WIN campaigns:
Track A: Public Lands & Housing Affordability
Track B: Good Jobs Legislation
Track C: Green/Healthy & Affordable Buildings

Details for these courses will be forthcoming. Tracks start January 7, January 28, and TBD later in the winter or early spring. Please contact Kit Arrington to sign up.
