Sunday School Starts Soon

Sep 04, 2021

New to St. Mark’s or considering Sunday School for the first time? Or just need a refresher? We hope you will consider registering your child for an exciting Sunday School year that begins September 19. Registration forms will be available on the St. Mark’s website by the end of August.

Here are some details for you to consider:

When: 9:45 – 10:45 am

Where: St. Mark’s Undercroft, with rooms designated for each age group

Why: So you can attend the 9 am worship service with your children, then drop them off for Sunday School during Sermon Seminar. Or so you can drop your childdren off before Sermon Seminar, and then attend the 11 am service with them. Whatever is better for you.

We offer classes for every level, K-12: Ages 3-6; ages 6-9; grades 4 & 5; Middle School (grades 6, 7 & 8); High School (grades 9-12).

Although we do not know exactly what CDC guidelines will recommend when Sunday School begins on September 19, we anticipate keeping everyone safe by requiring that all teachers and students be masked and taking advantage of our spacious undercroft to allow for social distancing.

If you have questions about Sunday School or our safety protocols, for Middle and High School please contact Greg Niblett (; 202-297-8859) and ages 3-9, our Catechesis students, contact Stephanie Deutsch (; 202-251-3533).
