“Good Friday” Offering

Make a difference across the world
It’s not too late to contribute!

St. Mark’s joins churches across the country to support the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem with a special collection on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

This year we are focusing on building a better economic future for Palestinians. The Episcopal Technological and Vocational Training Center (ETCTC) serves both Christian and Muslim young people from Ramallah and the surrounding area.

Students spend two years of hands-on learning in one of two tracks: hospitality and culinary arts or information technology. Upon graduation, 94 percent of the students move to full-time employment, additional vocational training, or university studies.

The Sisterhood Academy enrolls women from West Bank villages to learn culinary arts skills, basic accounting, digital marketing, social media, packaging, and technical English.

Your check or cash contribution will offer hope and opportunity by funding scholarships, equipment purchases, and on-the-job training. Be sure to put GFO on the check subject line. For further information, contact Maureen Shea of the Mid-East Working Group – mtshea[at]aol.com.
