A Special Musical Evening to Benefit Afghan Refugees

Sat 11/13 | 4:30-6:30, St. Mark's

Please join us for an evening of music from Veronneau, a band with an “acoustic, multilingual, world-jazz sound” that the Washington Post calls “inspiring and joyful.” The concert is free, but all donations will support the work of Good Neighbors Capitol Hill (GNCH), a St. Mark’s-supported coalition of eight Capitol Hill congregations and other friends. GNCH volunteers have provided more than 65 homes for refugee families since 2016, along with friendship, tutoring, and employment mentoring.

Visit www.goodneighborscapitolhill.org for more information about GNCH and how you might participate as we anticipate the arrival of 1,600 to 2,000 Afghan evacuees in the DMV during the coming months. Please come to this “concert for a cause” with your cash, credit card, or checkbook!
