A Mother’s Survival, A Daughter’s Resolve to “Never Forget”

At 6:30 pm Eastern time on August 19, 2020, Ine-Marie van Dam, the daughter of a Dutch Auschwitz survivor, will share her mother Ada’s story with the communities of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C., and St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle.

Ine works as a conference interpreter and has taught translation and interpretation at various colleges. In 2019 she began presenting the story of her mother’s Holocaust survival as a Legacy
Speaker with the Holocaust Center for Humanity. Her presentations include Ada’s video testimony, photos, maps, and other primary source documents. Ine currently resides in Centralia, WA.
