Building Bridges for Rozana | Mid-East Working Group

A Zoom fundraiser for a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening people-to-people ties between Palestinians and Israelis through health care

Please join members of more than 25 churches, mosques, and synagogues for an inspiring Friend-Raiser for Project Rozana, an international nonprofit dedicated to strengthening people-to-people ties between Palestinians and Israelis through health care. (https://www.projectrozana.org)

The organization aims to improve access to medical treatment for Palestinians in Israeli hospitals, while significantly expanding health care capacity on the West Bank and in Gaza. Speaking from the perspectives of their faith traditions, Reverend Sari Ateek, Imam Faizul Khan, and Rabbi Greg Harris will discuss how the imperative to care for the “Other” transcends divisions and binds us in our common humanity.

The event will be held at St. John’s Norwood Episcopal Church in Bethesda-Chevy Chase on Tuesday, May 9, from 7 to 9 p.m. Participation is free but in-person space is limited. Register at https://tinyurl.com/bridges4rozana. A Zoom link will be sent to online participants.
