Wednesday Bible Class invites you to drop in for an hour of Bible study, lunch, and fellowship.

We will explore the Biblical roots of resurrection before the Gospel accounts were written. What was the Jewish understanding of an “after-life?” We will reference the Psalms, the books of Maccabees and the prophet Daniel. What did St. Paul have to say about his experience of it? We will read portions of St. Paul’s authentic letters. To guide us in this challenging exploration, we will reference the commentary of Bernard Brandon Scott’s book The Trouble with Resurrection. And, as usual, we will be listening for the growth of our own understanding of Jesus’ Resurrection.
